Government to attract art and antiques buyers to UK
The Department for International Trade will attract global buyers to the UK art and antiques market. Using its embassy network the department to build further trade relations with the US and China. Discussions have begun between the organisers of the London Art Week and the DIT to bring new contacts to future events.
Richard Parry of the DIT said "It is about connecting supply and demand and adding value that perhaps someone else can't do. I feel there may be lots we can help with."

The next London Art Week takes place from the 1st to the 8th of December. It is expected that DIT input will begin next year.
